1. Data controller

The controller of personal data processed through arti24.eu is Artur Kuś. You can contact the controller at kusartur@gmail.com.

2. Data processed

  • Contact form: name, email address, subject, message and any other information voluntarily included in the message.
  • Security and abuse prevention: the IP address is used temporarily by request and message rate-limiting mechanisms.
  • Statistics: page visit counts. Only aggregate counters are stored; the user's IP address is not stored persistently.
  • Interface preferences: the selected colour theme is stored locally in the user's browser.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • responding to messages and taking steps at the request of the person contacting the controller — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR,
  • conducting correspondence, preventing spam, ensuring security and establishing or defending legal claims — the controller's legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR,
  • analysing aggregate content popularity and improving the website — the controller's legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Recipients

Contact-form data is sent to Brevo, the transactional email provider processing the data to deliver the message. Technical data may be processed by hosting, server infrastructure and email providers to the extent necessary to provide their services. Personal data is not sold.

If a provider uses subprocessors outside the European Economic Area, transfers are based on safeguards provided by the GDPR, in particular an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Retention

  • an IP address used to protect the form against spam remains only in server memory for up to 1 hour and is not written to disk,
  • an IP address used to prevent repeated counting of the same visit remains only in memory for up to 1 hour,
  • an IP address used by the general request limiter remains in memory for up to 15 minutes,
  • correspondence is retained until the matter is completed and then for no longer than 3 years where needed to establish, pursue or defend legal claims,
  • aggregate visit counters may be retained indefinitely because they contain no user identifiers,
  • the theme preference remains in browser storage until removed by the user.

6. Cookies and local storage

The website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The light or dark theme setting is stored in browser local storage solely to remember the selected preference.

7. Your rights

To the extent provided by the GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Requests can be sent to kusartur@gmail.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office or your local supervisory authority.

8. Voluntary provision of data

Providing data through the contact form is voluntary, but the name, email address, subject and message are required to submit the form and receive a response.

9. Automated decision-making

Personal data is not used for profiling or for decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

10. Contact
