Professional Profile
Senior Software Engineer with over 20 years of experience designing, developing and modernizing business systems. I specialize in Java/J2EE, SQL, backend architecture, database integration, migrations and deployment automation. I also build TypeScript/Node.js applications running on Linux, Docker, Nginx and Oracle Cloud.
For 19 years, I developed a multi-module ERP system, working on its persistence layer, Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server integration, data migrations, update mechanisms, and deployments to JBoss and WildFly.
I currently design and maintain TypeScript/Node.js applications and their deployment environments based on Linux, Docker, Nginx, Jenkins and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
I treat infrastructure as a complementary backend engineering skill. I am currently developing my Python, FastAPI and AI/LLM skills through learning and experimental projects.

How I work
Technology as a tool
I choose the language, framework and architecture to fit the problem and the scale of the project, rather than treating a technology's popularity as a goal in itself.
Simplicity over over-engineering
After working with React and Angular on current services, I chose Lit / Web Components where a heavier framework didn't provide enough benefit.
From code to a running service
I connect backend and database work with Linux, containerization, reverse proxy, CI/CD, troubleshooting and maintaining the production environment.
AI-assisted development
I use AI tools for code analysis, spotting potential bugs, refactoring, working with documentation and speeding up implementation.
